Why an independent valuation?

An independent business valuation will not be influenced by a pre existing professional relationship or the desire to continue a professional relationship after the valuation opinion is delivered.

An independent opinion of value from Sunbelt Business Advisors based exclusively on transparent analysis and best practice methodologies is more likely to be accepted by a potential buyer or investor in your business than a valuation produced by your own Accountant who may have a conflict of interest.

What is “Fair Market Value”?

Fair market value is the price at which a willing and able buyer would purchase a business from a willing and able seller, when both parties are acting at arms length in an open and unrestricted market, neither of whom are under any compulsion to buy or sell and both have reasonable knowledge of the relevant facts.

How will you value my business?

In order to determine the fair market value of a business or part shareholding in a business we will analyse the historical and forecast financial performance of the business, the environment in which it operates and the internal and external risks associated with the business. The result of this analysis will be combined with information from prior sales of similar sized businesses in similar industries to determine our final opinion of value.

How much will a Business Valuation cost?

Our fee’s are based on the amount of time required to gather and analyse the necessary financial and operating information and report our conclusion. Our business valuation fee’s are not based on or influenced by the size or value of the business. Indicative fees for most small to medium sized businesses are as follows:-

Letter of Opinion - €1,500 + VAT
Summary Valuation Report - €2,500 + VAT
Detailed Valuation Report – POA
